Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cochin & Transfer to Munnar: Arrive at Cochin International Airport (COK)/Ernakulam Railway Station.. Meet and greet by our representative and transfer to Munnar (approx. 4 hours).. Check into your plantation resort amidst the tea gardens.. Evening at leisure. Enjoy the scenic beauty.. Dinner at the resort.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing: After breakfast, visit Mattupetty Dam and enjoy boating.. Explore Echo Point and admire the surrounding hills.. Visit Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) - *closed during certain months for breeding*.. Enjoy a tea garden visit and learn about the tea-making process.. Optional: Spice Plantation tour (additional cost).
Day 3: Munnar to Alleppey & Houseboat Check-in: After breakfast, check out from the resort and transfer to Alleppey (approx. 4-5 hours).. Check in to your pre-booked houseboat by 12:00 PM.. Enjoy a welcome drink and begin your backwater cruise.. Lunch served onboard.. Evening at leisure - enjoy the sunset over the backwaters.. Dinner onboard.
Day 4: Alleppey Backwater Cruise: Enjoy a leisurely cruise through the backwaters.. Visit local villages and witness the traditional way of life.. Observe coir making and other local crafts.. All meals served onboard.
Day 5: Alleppey to Cochin & Departure: After breakfast, check out from the houseboat by 9:00 AM.. Transfer to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.. Optional: Cochin City tour (depending on flight/train schedule – additional cost).
