Travelers Nest Community ("we", "us") is a travel company based at Complex No. 38, Kalath, Manali, Kullu – 175131, Himachal Pradesh, India. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and when you enquire about or book a trip with us. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Information we collect

Enquiries and callback requests: your name, phone number, email address, message, preferred travel dates, number of travellers and the trip you are interested in.
Accounts: your name, email address and phone number. Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes.
Bookings: the trip, departure batch, room-sharing preference, number of travellers and the lead traveller's contact details. Details needed to arrange the trip (for example ID for hotel check-in or permits) are collected when required.
Payments: payments are made by UPI or bank transfer. We record the amount and reference you share with us; we do not collect or store card numbers on this website.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device information in server logs, used for security and to keep the site working.

3. How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and plan, confirm and manage your trip.
To contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about your enquiry or booking.
To prevent spam, fraud and abuse of our forms and accounts.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only where needed:

Travel partners — hotels, homestays, transport operators and guides — only the details they need to provide your trip.
Service providers that run this website on our behalf: website hosting and file storage (Vercel), our database provider (Neon), email delivery (Resend) and spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service).
Authorities where required by law.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. The site stores small preferences in your browser (for example, that you dismissed the "install app" prompt) and may cache public pages so they load offline. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymise it.

7. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to being contacted, by emailing contact@travelersnestcommunity.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by law.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. Travellers under 18 must be booked and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
