Itinerary
Day 0: Departure from Delhi: Group meets at the Delhi Railway Station (New Delhi) at 8:00 PM.. Briefing session by the trip leader.. Board an overnight AC Volvo bus to Munnar.. Dinner stop on the way (self-paid).. Overnight travel.
Day 1: Arrival in Munnar & Tea Estate Exploration: Arrive in Munnar early morning (around 8:00 AM) and check into your homestay.. Freshen up and enjoy a delicious breakfast.. Visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the history and processing of tea.. Explore the lush tea gardens surrounding the museum.. Evening at leisure – explore the local market or relax at your accommodation.
Day 2: Scenic Views & Wildlife: After breakfast, visit Mattupetty Dam and enjoy boating.. Proceed to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) to spot the Nilgiri Tahr. Note: Park entry is subject to availability.. Drive to Top Station for breathtaking panoramic views of the Western Ghats.. Enjoy a local Kerala meal at a restaurant in Munnar town.. Evening bonfire (weather permitting) and overnight stay.
Day 3: Trekking & Spice Gardens: Optional: Early morning trek to Meesapulimala Peak (requires pre-booking & good physical fitness).. Alternatively, explore the Blossom Hydel Park.. Visit a local spice garden to learn about the cultivation of various spices.. Opportunity to purchase spices and tea directly from the source.. Free time for shopping and exploring Munnar town.
