Itinerary
Day 0: Departure from Delhi: Meet at Delhi's Connaught Place (MacDonald's) at 6:00 PM. Board an overnight AC Volvo bus to Dehradun. Enjoy the scenic drive through the plains
Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri & Trek to Juda ka Talab: Arrive in Dehradun early morning (approx. 6:00 AM). Transfer to Sankri (approx. 7-8 hours drive). Check into camp/guesthouse in Sankri. After lunch, begin the trek to Juda ka Talab (approx. 4 km, 3-4 hours). Overnight stay in tents at Juda ka Talab – a picturesque lake.
Day 2: Juda ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp: Wake up to stunning views of the surrounding peaks. After breakfast, trek to Kedarkantha Base Camp (approx. 4 km, 4-5 hours) through dense forests. Set up camp and enjoy the evening amidst nature. Acclimatization walk around the base camp.
Day 3: Summit Attempt - Kedarkantha Peak & Descent to Base Camp: Early morning wake-up call (around 4:00 AM) for the summit attempt. Trek to Kedarkantha Peak (3,800m) – approx. 3 km, 3-4 hours. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan range. Descend back to Kedarkantha Base Camp for lunch. Rest and overnight stay at the base camp.
Day 4: Kedarkantha Base Camp to Sankri: After breakfast, begin the descent to Sankri (approx. 8 km, 4-5 hours). Enjoy the downhill trek through the forests. Check into camp/guesthouse in Sankri. Relax and rejuvenate after a rewarding trek
Day 5: Sankri to Dehradun & Departure to Delhi: After breakfast, drive back to Dehradun. Explore local markets in Dehradun (optional). Board an overnight AC Volvo bus to Delhi
Day 6: Arrival in Delhi: Arrive in Delhi early morning (approx. 6:00 AM). Trip concludes with unforgettable memories!
