Itinerary
Pick-up from Delhi (Majnu Ka Tilla) between 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Board an overnight AC Volvo/Tempo Traveler towards Chopta. Enjoy the scenic drive with fellow travelers. Dinner stop enroute (at your own expense). Overnight journey.
Arrive in Chopta early morning (approx. 7-8 AM). Check into our pre-booked campsite/homestay. Freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Start the trek to Tungnath Temple (approx. 3.5 km, moderate). Explore Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and enjoy panoramic views. Descend back to Chopta. Evening bonfire and dinner. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Wake up to breathtaking Himalayan views. After breakfast, trek to Deoriatal Lake (approx. 2.5 km, easy). Capture stunning reflections of the mountains in the crystal-clear waters of Deoriatal. Spend time relaxing by the lake and enjoying the serene surroundings. Descend back to Chopta and have lunch. Begin the journey back to Delhi in the afternoon/evening. Dinner stop enroute.
Arrive back in Delhi early morning (approx. 6-7 AM). Drop-off at Majnu Ka Tilla. Trip concludes with unforgettable memories!
