About This Trip
Chopta, Tungnath and Deoriatal Trek are amongst the most desirable places to go on trek. Novice trekkers many times choose to commence their trekking adventures from this location due to Tungnath’s significance as a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, attracting worshippers and devotees seeking blessings and spiritual experiences. According to Hindu Mythology this temple of Lord Shiva is the highest temple and considered approx 1000 years old. This temple situated in Uttarakhand is connected with the popular Hindu epic namely Mahabharata. Tungnath also holds its place among the revered Panch Kedar temples. The Tungnath Mahadev Trek starts from Chopta, which is a small village elevated at an altitude of 8,790 feet (2,679 meters) above sea level. This trek is suitable for beginners and is easy on the basis of difficulty level. From Tungnath the trek continues forward to Chandrashila Peak. which stands at an elevation of 3,700 meters (12,100 feet). The trek to Chandrashila involves a steep climb but is well worth the effort for the panoramic vistas it offers. At the summit, trekkers are greeted with unparalleled views of snow-capped peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and Kedar Dome as well as the enormous tract of the Garhwal Region. Chopta Tungnath, Deoriatal trek is extremely beautiful and known for its scenic beauty. It passes through some wonderful forests and affords excellent views of the snow clad peaks.
Itinerary
Delhi To Chopta | Overnight Journey: Assemble at boarding point in Delhi – Akshardham Metro Station and meet your Trip Captain.. Start an overnight journey to Chopta and socialize with your co-travellers.
Devprayag Sangam | Chopta Arrival: Enroute Chopta, we will take a pit stop at Devprayag in early morning to witness the beautiful confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda rivers ultimately becoming Ganga river.. Further we will take a halt around Rudraprayag to grab a satisfying breakfast and continue our journey towards Chopta.. After arriving in Chopta Valley, check-in to our scenic property, freshen-up and have some leisure.. Go for a forest walk and absorb in the charming Himalayan beauty.. In the evening, enjoy warm bonfire and mouth-watering snacks under a million stars.. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in camps/hotel.
Trek to Chandrashila via Tungnath Mahadev Temple: Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast, drive to the starting point of our trek.. Begin your trek to Tungnath – one of the Panch Kedar and World’s highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.. Trek further to magnificent Chandrashila Peak situated at 13,000 ft (if weather & conditions permits) and gather for an #InstaPerfect group picture.. Trek back to Chopta village and drive back to our property and have some leisure.. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a camps/hotel.
Drive To Sari Village | Trek To Deoriatal | Depart For Delhi: Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, drive to Sari Village.. Begin your trek to mesmerising Deoriatal Lake.. Trek back to Sari village and post lunch start-off your return journey to Delhi.. Take a halt at Rishikesh in the night to explore the local market, go for cafe hopping, visit temples and serene Ganga ghats (if time permits).

- Bonfire (if weather permits) during the stay and local explorations as per itinerary.
- Veg Meals: Dinner (2), Breakfast (2) and Evening Snacks (2), starting from Evening Snacks on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 3.
- Driver allowances, toll taxes, parking, state taxes.
Exclusions
- Any extra meals apart from the ones mentioned under inclusions.
- Travel Insurance, items of personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
- Any entry fees, extra expenses for optional activities , room heaters or tickets, unless quoted in Inclusions.
- Cost of snow-chained or 4*4 Vehicle if needed due to heavy snowfall.
- Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
- GST (5%) is applicable extra.
