Itinerary
Delhi to Shimla – Overnight Journey by Volvo: Depart from Delhi in the evening and embark on an overnight journey to Shimla.
Shimla to Chitkul/Sangla (220 km | 9-10 hrs): Arrive in Shimla and enjoy breakfast.. Begin the scenic drive via Kufri and Narkanda along the Indo-Tibetan highway.. Enter Kinnaur Valley through the historic Kinnaur Gate.. Reach Chitkul or Sangla by evening, settle in, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Chitkul/Sangla to Kalpa (70 km | 3-4 hrs): Wake up to the crisp mountain air and explore Chitkul, the last Indian village.. Visit the breathtaking Cliff Point at Roghi village.. Stroll through Peo Market, Kinnaur’s largest shopping hub.. Reach Kalpa by evening, check in to the hotel, and relax.
Kalpa to Tabo via Nako (168 km | 7-8 hrs): Begin the journey towards Spiti Valley after breakfast.. Cross the famous Ka Loops and stop for lunch in Nako.. Enter Spiti Valley via Sumdo Border and visit the fascinating Gue Monastery.. Reach Tabo by evening and explore the historic Tabo Monastery.. Check into a cozy homestay, enjoy dinner, and rest.
Tabo to Kaza via Key Monastery & Chicham Bridge (125 km | 6-7 hrs): Visit Dhankar Monastery, offering mesmerizing views of the Spiti-Pin River confluence.. Explore the iconic Key Monastery, a spiritual gem perched on a hilltop.. Cross Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Asia.. Arrive in Kaza by evening, check in, and enjoy a hearty meal.
Kaza – Hikkim, Komik & Langza Excursion (80 km | 6-7 hrs): Visit Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office.. Explore Langza, known for its stunning Buddha statue and prehistoric fossils.. Discover Komik, one of the highest motorable villages on the planet.. Return to Kaza in the evening, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight.
Kaza to Kalpa (215 km | 7-8 hrs): Depart from Kaza after breakfast and drive back towards Kalpa.. Reach Kalpa by night, check into your stay, and unwind.
Kalpa to Shimla – Overnight Transfer to Delhi (210 km | 8-9 hrs): After breakfast, depart for Shimla.. Arrive in Shimla by evening and board the overnight Volvo to Delhi.
