Mcleodganj is also known as Little Lhasa which is a suburb of Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. Mcleodganj is a very beautiful place with a proper blend of Tibetan & some British influence. This city is very little but has a different fame in the world being the house of Buddhist spiritual Leader Dalai Lama. Mcleodganj Triund trek packages are also the best for the adventure seekers & trekkers. This town is so beautiful being situated at the top of Dharamshala. The awesome mountains, beautiful greenery & at the top of the landscapes. Trek to Triund is one of the most popular journeys to go over with a bunch of friends. It’s maybe the easiest Himalayan journey to do on your own. With stirring views of the Kangra vale and the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges, it’s also veritably graphic. Triund is the ideal destination for those seeking a hassle-free taste of touring in the Himalayas. The journey can fluently be done over a weekend. The trail to Triund is short but steep. There are also colorful songbirds in the timbers along the trail which make it a birdwatcher’s delight. Considering it’s an easy journey and with the royal availability from Dharamshala or Mcleodganj, there are a large number of pedestrians who go this journey, making it delicate to enjoy the serenity of the place and can get crowded on top during the weekends or vacation season. It’s better to witness the beauty of this journey during the weekdays.
Itinerary
DAY 0 : Delhi to Mcleodganj | Overnight Journey: We depart from Delhi around 6 PM in an AC Vehicle. (Know the true value of time snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it.). Pit stop for dinner at any decent roadside restaurant.
DAY 1: Mcleodganj Arrival | Local Exploration & Cafe Hopping: Upon reaching McLeod Ganj , we’ll check into our hotel rooms and spend some leisure time.. Afterward, we will head out for a local sightseeing tour where we would be visiting the Namgyal Monastery, Bhagsunag waterfall, and the local Tibetan Market. We will also go for cafe hopping to hog on some Tibetan delicacies.. Dinner was followed by an overnight stay in McLeod Ganj.
DAY 2: Triund | Trek & Overnight Camping: After early morning breakfast, we’ll head out for a trek towards Triund hill which is situated at the foothills of the Dhauladhar ranges and is known as the crown jewel of Dharamshala.. At an elevation of 9432 ft, the Triund Top offers stunning views of the entire Kangra Valley . The trail is adorned with pine trees and stretches up to an expanse of lush green grassland. We will be spending the night under the blanket of stars overlooking the mighty Dhauladhars.. Dinner and overnight stay in camps.
DAY 3 : Triund #SunriseGoals & Bhagsunag | Delhi Departure: Upon reaching Mcleodganj, we’ll explore nearby cafes.. In the evening, we’ll board an overnight bus for our return journey to Delhi
DAY 4 : REACH BACK TO DELHI BY MORNING: Reach Delhi in the morning.
