Itinerary
Day 0: Departure from Delhi: Group meets at the designated departure point (New Delhi Railway Station). Briefing session by the trip leader. Board an AC Volvo for the overnight journey to Leh.. En-route dinner stop (self-paid). Overnight travel with music and comfortable seating.
Day 1: Arrival in Leh & Acclimatization: Arrival in Leh (approx. 11,000 ft). Transfer to the hotel.. Full day for acclimatization – essential for a comfortable trip!. Rest and light activity. Explore Leh market at your own pace.. Visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of the city.. Dinner at a local restaurant (try the *thukpa* at Gesmo Restaurant).
Day 2: Leh Monastery Tour: Morning visit to Thiksey Monastery, known for its stunning architecture.. Explore Hemis Monastery, Ladakh's largest monastery.. Afternoon visit to Shey Palace, the former summer residence of the Ladakhi kings.. Enjoy the scenic drive along the Indus River.. Evening: Free time to explore Leh.
