Itinerary
Day 0: Departure from Delhi: Group meets at the Delhi Railway Station or Airport.. Board an overnight Volvo/Tempo Traveler for Leh.. Enjoy the scenic journey with music and fellow travelers.. Dinner stop en route (self-paid).. Overnight travel.
Day 1: Arrival in Leh & Acclimatization: Arrive in Leh (11,000 ft) in the morning.. Check into your guesthouse and enjoy breakfast.. Complete rest for acclimatization - essential for high altitude.. Afternoon: A leisurely walk around Leh Market, visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic views.. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh Monastery Tour & Shey Palace: Visit Thiksey Monastery, known for its resemblance to Potala Palace in Lhasa.. Explore Hemis Monastery, Ladakh's largest and wealthiest monastery.. Visit Shey Palace, the former summer residence of the Ladakhi kings.. Evening: Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
