We'll be camping under the stars, sharing stories around a crackling bonfire, and immersing ourselves in the unique culture of Spiti. Itinerary
Day 0: Delhi to Manali/Shimla: Departure from Delhi in the evening.. Overnight journey in a comfortable AC Volvo/Tempo Traveller.. Dinner stop enroute (self-paid).
Day 1: Manali/Shimla to Kaza & Acclimatization: Arrival in Kaza (approx. 12-14 hours journey).. Check-in to a hotel/guesthouse for a quick refresh.. Acclimatization walk around Kaza town. Visit the local market and try Tibetan cuisine at a local cafe – try the 'Lamayuru' restaurant for delicious momos.. Briefing about the trek by our team.. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 2: Kaza to Base Camp (Chicham Bridge) - Acclimatization Hike: After breakfast, drive to Chicham Bridge (4-5 hours). This bridge is the highest one in Asia.. Short acclimatization hike around Chicham Bridge to adjust to the altitude.. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Spiti Valley from the bridge.. Set up the base camp near Chicham Bridge.. Evening bonfire and stargazing.. Overnight stay in tents at the base camp.
Day 3: Summit Attempt to Kanamo Peak & Descend to Base Camp: Early morning start (around 3:00 AM) for the summit attempt.. Trek to Kanamo Peak (approx. 4-5 hours).. Enjoy breathtaking views from the summit! Take amazing photos of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.. Descend back to the base camp after spending some time at the peak.. Relax and enjoy dinner at the base camp.. Overnight stay in tents at the base camp.
Day 4: Base Camp to Kaza & Departure: After breakfast, pack up the base camp.. Trek down to Chicham Bridge.. Drive back to Kaza.. Depart from Kaza in the evening for Manali/Shimla.. Overnight journey back to Delhi.
