Itinerary
Day 0: Departure from Delhi: Meet at the designated departure point in Delhi (Connaught Place) around 8:00 PM.. Board a comfortable AC Volvo bus for an overnight journey to Jeori, Himachal Pradesh.. Enjoy the scenic drive and connect with fellow travelers.. Dinner stop en route (self-paid).. Estimated arrival in Jeori around 8:00 AM the next day.
Day 1: Jeori to Nithar Village: Arrive in Jeori and meet our team.. After breakfast at a local cafe, transfer to Nithar Village (approx. 30 minutes).. Start the trek to the campsite, a gentle walk through apple orchards and pine forests (approx. 3-4 hours).. Check into the campsite and enjoy lunch.. Explore Nithar village and interact with the locals.. Evening bonfire and dinner under the stars.
Day 2: Nithar to Mommai Village: Wake up to breathtaking mountain views.. After breakfast, trek towards Mommai Village (approx. 5-6 hours).. The trail passes through dense forests and alongside a gurgling stream.. Lunch will be packed and consumed during the trek.. Check into a local homestay in Mommai.. Enjoy a traditional Himachali dinner with the host family.
Day 3: Mommai to Surya Top Base Camp: Begin the ascent towards Surya Top base camp (approx. 6-7 hours).. This is a moderately challenging trek, gaining altitude steadily.. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.. Lunch along the trail.. Set up camp at the base of Surya Top.. Evening briefing about the summit attempt.
Day 4: Surya Top Summit & Descent: Early morning wake-up call for the summit attempt.. Trek to Surya Top (3200m) to witness a spectacular sunrise (approx. 2-3 hours).. Enjoy 360-degree views of the Himalayas.. Descend back to the base camp for breakfast.. After breakfast, trek back to Mommai Village.. Rest and relaxation at the homestay.
Day 5: Mommai to Jeori & Departure: After breakfast, descend from Mommai to Jeori (approx. 4-5 hours).. Enjoy the final views of the mountains.. Have lunch at a local *dhaba* in Jeori.. Board the AC Volvo bus for the overnight journey back to Delhi.
Day 6: Arrival in Delhi: Arrive in Delhi early morning (around 7:00 - 8:00 AM).. Drop-off at the designated point in Delhi (Connaught Place).. Cherish the memories of your incredible Surya Top trek!
